On the 20th of September 2024 the second certification event was held at the DSWA Wales Branch test site on Mynydd Y Gwrhyd. The certification exam was overseen by the senior assessor and DSWA Trustee Andy Loudon. The weather was kind to the candidates throughout the day and the result was seven successful passes. Congratulations from all at DSWA Wales. The Wales Branch are particularly pleased to see a candidate from out of Wales undertake their certification at the site. The Wales Branch test site at Mynydd Y Gwrhyd is a viable addition and alternative to candidates certifying through the Dry Stone Walling Association. Dates are already in place for 2025.
